A report has been made of a parcel being taken from a doorstep on the main road yesterday.

Despite clear instructions, delivery drivers often leave parcels unattended and on full display on a doorstep.  At this time of year especially, these seem to be easy pickings for opportunistic thieves as they pass through the village.

If you see a parcel unattended on a neighbours doorstep, please consider putting it somewhere safe until they return?
